Initially known as “Fairview Alterations, the business was established as an alteration shop in 1994 and was purchased by the current Proprietor, Derek Brennan in 1996
With several years’ experience running clothing alterations businesses in Dublin, Athlone and Offaly, Derek ensured that the business was quickly established as a centre of excellence for clothing alterations
Building on this success and excellent customer feedback, the business was renovated in 2006 and expanded to include a Dry Cleaning and Laundry Service therefore providing customers one place where all their alteration and dry cleaning requirements could be completed (on the same day if required).
The same standards of excellence that were applied to the Alteration business was also applied to the Dry Cleaning business which resulted in continued excellent Customer feedback
Acknowledging a new generation of environmentally-conscious consumers, in 2021 the business was once again renovated – this time traditional “Dry Cleaning” machines which use toxic chemicals and solvents were replaced with Electrolux lagoon® Advanced Care “Wet Cleaning” machines.
Wet Cleaning is environmentally friendly, solvent-free “dry-cleaning” that uses no toxic chemicals, as water is the solvent – superior cleaning leaving garments an air dried fresh odour – no more chemical odours – seeing and smelling is believing!
